Children And Adolescents Schizophrenia Clinical Characteristics Research And Prognosis Related Factors Analysis

Objective The age of 18 years patients with schizophrenia, called children schizophrenia or child and adolescent schizophrenia. Foreign Child and Adolescent "called", including 13 years ago the onset of patients rarely, called "childhood-onset disease of schizophrenia," age 13 to 18 called "teenage period onset of schizophrenia" children without self-knowledge force, because the early symptoms are not typical, should accomplish early identification has some difficulties. Children the prognosis of schizophrenia, domestic and foreign some scholars have different opinions, but for children of schizophrenia, the social function of how long curative effect can be restored to what extent, social function restore exactly what factors from at home and abroad, this paper studies but so few people to study the clinical characteristics of children and adolescents 52.4% characteristics and prognosis factors.Methods In study one, The data of 147 schizophrenia patients less than 18 years old who hospitalized in the Anhui mental health center On August 1, 2005 to 2007 July 31 were collected and analyzed. All the subjects were diagnosed according to CCMD-Ⅲcriteria for schizophrenia. Children series is divided into 13 years old, less than 59 patients and youth group is 13 years old, 88, take a retrospective study method, two groups of clinical data analysis. In study two, The subjects with schizophrenia who were in hospitalization from August 1, 2005 to July 31, 2007 were followed up until December,2009. All 184 childhood schizophrenia with the age of onset of≤18 years.The sujects were evaluated with Clinical Global Impression Scale(Disease severity CGI-S), Personal and social function scale(PSP)and a self-compiled questionnaire. To follow-up and scale on-site evaluation of combining data obtained, Finally there were 164 patients complete follow-up with loss 20 patients.Results In study one, Two groups of disease compared with the form of hospital efficacy significant differences (P <0.05). Youth group thinking content obstacle than children series, two groups of comparisons with significant differences (χ~2 = 0.019, P<0.05). Children series appear behavior and emotional disorders than youth group, two groups of comparisons with significant differences (P <0.05).In study two, After chi-square analysis obtains female patients with low recurrence rate than male patients(χ~2=8.89,P<0.05 ),Female patients with the social function of recovering than male patients(χ~2=10.62,P<0.05)。By multiple regression analysis, show the main factors affect prognosis are: CGI score, residence, insight force recovery degree, whether for single child family.Conclusion In study one, children in the form of disease and schizophrenia, thinking content barrier discharge curative effect, behavioral problems and emotional disorders related with age.In study two, CGI score higher patients social function poorer, living in cities, insight force has restored, is the single child family faired better.
