Reinforce The Kidney And Activate Blood Circulation Treatment Of Presbycusis And Effect On The Quality Of Life

Objective:To observe reinforcing the kidney and activating blood from presbycusis treatment efficacy and quality of life of patients.Methods:The presbycusis patients were randomized into two groups.The treatment group of 22 cases were treated by the prescription witch is modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction, and the controlled group of 20 cases treated by Er Long Zuo Ci Wan. Both groups were given treatment for 30 days.During the courses of treatment, recording clinical symptoms and signs and survey hearing handicap inventory for the elderly, screening version(HHIE—S) of patients'health.Results:The results show that two groups of patients with pure tone audiometry hearing loss, word recognition sore before and after treatment and between the two groups, the statistical analysis, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant, suggesting that the modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction and Er Long Zuo Ci Wan improve pure tone audiometry hearing loss and word recognition sore are void, and no significant difference between the two groups. The treatment group of patients with symptoms of tinnitus such as the cicada contrast the group before and after treatment, P<0.05, the modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction improve symptoms associated with tinnitus are valid, between the two groups before and 30 days after treatment, compared with treatment group and the controlled group are significant, P<0.05, suggesting that the modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction improve the symptoms of tinnitus, such as more effective than Er Long Zuo Ci Wan. Two groups of patients' quality of life in the statistical analysis of the comparison group before and after treatment, P<0.05, suggesting that the modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction and Er Long Zuo Ci Wan are valid to improve quality of life of patients. In both groups compared, P<0.05, the modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction improve the quality of life especially emotional barriers effectively than Er Long Zuo Ci Wan.Conclusions:(1) The modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction and Er Long Zuo Ci Wan improve presbycusis hearing loss of pure tone audiometry and word recognition sore are invalid.(2) The modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction and Er Long Zuo Ci Wan improve symptoms of presbycusis such as tinnitus. The modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction is better than Er Long Zuo Ci Wan.(3) The modified Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with Gusuibu and Danshen Decoction improve presbycusis the quality of life especially emotional barriers effectively than Er Long Zuo Ci Wan.(4) The quality of life can be used to determine the efficacy of presbycusis as a indicator. The hearing handicap inventory for the elderly, screening version(HHIE—S) can scale for patients with pesbycusis quality of life.
