The subject used randomized, multi-center, blinded evaluation of test methods, treatment group of 81 cases and the control group 81 cases, according to 1:1 ratio to test the control. According to the number of participating units, and random distribution of the proportion of cases generated random number table, a total of 01-162 numbers, Random numbers with the same number of drugs.Test in the four hospitals was at the same time, qualified subjects accessed to clinical observation according to their order into the test. Now the subject is still in progress, from the completed cases,30 cases randomly selected treatment group and control group 30 cases were compared. The treatment group was treated with PEN QIANG YAN Recipe+PEN YAN XIAO enema+dregs external application+magic lamp therapy. in the control group, single PEN QIANG YAN Recipe for oral administration, after 4 weeks' treatment, observe and compare the improvement of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms, physical signs and quality of life(World Health Organization quality of life summary table) while observing indicators of efficacy such as the patient's erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),B Chao, Vaginal discharge Cleanliness, and safety Index, such as adverse reactions, the three conventions, liver and kidney function and so on.Results:Clinical study results showed that:1) after treatment, the total effective rate was both 100% in the two groups. The markedly effective rate of the treatment group was 90%, while the control group was 76.7%. There was a significant difference between them (P<0.05).2) the total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine symptom in the two groups were 100%and 96.7%. Remarkable effective rate was 90% and 63.3% respectively. There was a significant difference (P<0.05).3) the total effective rate of local signs was 100%, meanwhile, markedly effective rate was 53.3% in the treatment group. While in the control group the total effective rate of local signs was 93.3%, effective rate was 20%. Comparison between the two groups, there was significant difference (p<0.05). The total score difference in symptoms before and after treatment, the treatment group is better than the control group (Z=-2.27, P=0.02).The treatment group did well in improving the individual traditional Chinese medicine syndromes except looking dull (p<0.05),while the control group did well except the sexual intercourse pain, looking dull signified ineffective.(p<0.05) 5) After treatment, the two groups were both effective in improving local signs and total score, but the treatment group was better than the control group (p <0.05).6)There were very significant different in improving the total score of quality of life, physical field, psychological field and social relations between the two groups(p <0.01), while in the field of environmental areas there was significant different (p<0.05).7) The treatment group in improving the situation in the color Doppler is superior to the control group (p=0.03).While the effect on Erythrocyte sedimentation rate and vaginal secretions of cleanliness inspection, in the two groups were same. Conclusion:The comprehensive treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease has an obvious advantage in improving clinical symptoms, local signs, quality of life, which is simple to operate, and suitable for clinical application.
