The Clinical Efficacy Of Xianlinggubao Capsule Plus Miacalcic For Senile Osteoporosis

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xianlinggubao capsule plus Miacalcic for Senile Osteoporosis.Methods:Under the random and contrast research method,92 cases were involved in this trial and divided randomly into two groups (Research group and Control group):the research group(n=46) were treated by xianlinggubao capsule and salmon of calcitonin injection, while the control group(n=46) were treated only by the salmon of calcitonin injection. All the patients received the calcium(Caltrate D, D-Cal and so on) orally in equal quantity. After the treatment for 8 weeks, the nature and degree of ostealgia in all the patients were assessed, and the related outcome indexes were measured and the adverse drug reactions were recorded in detail.Results:There were no significant differences between the research group and the control group in total effective rates(95.65% for research group vs.93.18% for control group, P<0.05), While significant differences were noted across the 2 groups in the incidences of adverse drug reactions(13.04% and 32.61%, respectively, P<0.05); There was no significant differences in the degree of pain remission after the treatment(P>0.05), However, Both research group and control group were decreased significantly in the degrees of ostealgia after treating(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the bone density were increased significantly in the research group after treating(P<0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of Senile Osteoporosis with Xianlinggubao capsule plus Miacalcic has been proved to be safe and effective. In that therapeutic method, the mineral bone density can be increased effectively and the osteoporotic pain in lumbar and back of the patients can be relieved obviously.
