ObjectivesTo study the change of the total cost before and after the treatment (including lost wages, transportation), number of needing emergency and hospitalization, times of using emergency medicine, the symptoms score, day and night symptom-free days who treated by the the therapy in self-blood acupoint-injection. And study the relationship between those changes and asthmatic children.MethodsWe have selected 149 suitable cases from nanhai traditional Chinese medical hospital.They received the the therapy Acupoint injection in self-blood three cycles of treatment before 14. We use form to invest them, and then collect the form. At last we use data to analze it.Result1, The total cost of children before and after treatment (including lost wages, transportation) with significant difference (P=0.0145).2, Before and after the treatment of needing emergency and children hospitalized with no significant differences between times (P>0.05).3, The using of emergency medicine before and after treatment with significant differences between times (P<0.01).4, Before and after the treatment symptoms score by children with significant difference (P<0.01). 5, Before and after treatment, symptoms scoring night with significant difference (P<0.01).6, Children symptom-free days before and after treatment with significant difference (P<0.01).7, Children asthma control self assessment before and after the treatment situation with significant difference (P<0.01).ConclusionThrough this topic clinical observation research, suggests that the add with blood in treating pediatric point injection from children in improve asthma. The quality of life, control asthma attack, reduce asthma treatment costs have good effect, and the treatment cost low, without any side effects, in clinical practice received satisfactory effect, deserves further clinical promotion and research.
