Clinical Study Of Huoxuelishui Therapy For Treating Acute Lumbar Disc Herniation

ObjectivesTo observe the clinical effect of relieving the patients suffering acute lumbar disc herniation (lumbar disc herniation LDH) with HuoXueLiShui therapy, to explore a methods of Chinese medicine to treat LDH.MethodIn the study, the object is the patients who suffered from acute LDH and hospitalized in Zhuhai TCM. Among of them,52 patients was selected according with inclusion criteria, then distributed them between 2 groups randomly.25 patients in treatment group accepted HuoXueLiShui decoction combining Danshen injection.27 patients in the control group accepted Meloxicam capsules treatment. Both of them had the same adjunctive therapy. We observed,registered and compared the treatment effect between 2 groups in the 1st,3rd,5th,7th day according to the JOA and VAS.Result1,2 groups had inconspicuous distinction in pain extent and dysfunction in the 1st day after graded by using the JOA and VAS;2,The pain extent had been relieved in varyingdegrees after the treatment between 2 groups;3,The results revealed that the treatment group had more effective in treating acute LDH, this result had conspicuous distinction in statistics.ConclusionHuoXueLiShui therapy, as HuoXueLiShui decoction combining Danshen injection, can obviously relieves the pain, lumbodynia,leg radiating pain and anesthesia indused by acute LHD. The effect of the therapy is prominence. It also has high security and reliability. It should be promoted.
