| As lifestyles change, more and more people develop the disorder in metabolism of blood glucose, the prevalence of diabetes and pre-diabetes (IGT and IFG) is increasing year by year. At the clinical diagnosis and treatment process, the capsule of liqihuazhuo which is explore the effect of Liver-discharging and Spleen-nourishing, Qi-regulating and turbidity-relieving methods makes a good effect as one Chinese herbs in pre-diabetes and diabetes early. This subiect which is using CGMS to observe the effectiveness of adjust glucose level with the capsule of liqihuazhuo provide the basis for TCM role in diabetes treatment area.Objectives:This subject is to be observed before and after treatment through clinical symptoms'improvements and fasting blood glucose, two-hour postprandial blood glucose (after oral glucose anhydrous 75g), HbAlc, also observed difference between two groups of CGMS after 12 week's treatment. The subject preliminary discussed the possible mechanism which use the capsule of liqihuazhuo to improve pre-diabetes and diabetes early symptom, and describe the changing patterns of pre-diabetes and diabetes early.Methods:A prospective randomized single-blind clinical study of the control method. Observation a total of 40 cases, a simple test group were randomly assigned to 20 cases,20 cases of the control group and the establishment of strict diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria. Treatment group:taking capsule of liqihuazhuo,5 capsules/time,3 times/day, for taking three courses, a course for 4 weeks. Control group:taking acarbose (Bayer), 50mg,3 times/day, taking meals in a row taking three courses, a course for 4 weeks. Designed to observe patients before and after the test form of physical records to improve the situation, laboratory indicators, the information the results of clinical input into the computer, the establishment of databases, data management, application software for simple statistical data analysis, statistical methods of information classification test using X2, multi-group are few compared with ANOVA (analysis of variance), and adverse events, a detailed record of adverse reactions.Results:The treatment group patients treated by capsule of liqihuazhuo for 12 weeks, the overall effect of Chinese medicine is obviously improved than the control group, with a total effective rate of 85%. So the medicine of the treatment group is much more safety than the control group.Conclusion:Capsule of liqihuazhuo in the treatment of pre-diabetes and diabetes early have a better clinical efficacy, and compare with clinical symptoms, fasting blood glucose, two-hour postprandial blood glucose, HbAlc, BMI, WHR, MBG, it also better than control group without side effect. capsule of liqihuazhuo also reduce patients'glucose fluctuations and incidence of hyperglycemia. The study use CGMS to continuous monitoring patients'glucose with advanced modern technology. It Supplies a gap for TCM in improving pre-diabetes and diabetes early experiment indexes, shows the effectiveness of the diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine. It also shows broad prospects for the diagnosis and treatment of Chinese medicine in pre-diabetes and diabetes early.
