ObjectiveTo observe the pain conditions and the usage of analgesics in patients, who had taken the "length effect" of acupoint catgut embedding to combat low perianal abscess at different time points. The purpose is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the method on pain prevention and treatment on low perianal abscess, and to probe the mentioned mechanism; and to research for new methods and ideas on a more in-depth treatment of Anorectal perioperative medicine.MethodsWith prospective randomized controlled trial methods, taking 50 cases of Anorectal abscess patients admitted to our hospital from December 2010 to March 2011, who would like to take a one-time radical line of perianal abscess and inclusion criteria for this study, we randomly divided them into treatment group and control group. The treatment group of patients will be buried with catgut medical 1.5cm white ring-shu points, strong points and long Shangjuxu point; the control group received routine postoperative medication treatment. We compared the change on primary efficacy evaluation method and security of the first 1-5 days after the operation.ResultWe watched the postoperative VAS scores between the embedding group and control group, both of whose VAS scored P= 0.763> 0.05 after 4h of the operation, with no significant difference. From 8h of the operation to the fifth day, the P value of VAS at different time points was greater than 0.05, which was statistically significant.Comparing the pain during defecation of the two groups 2-5 days after operation, the P value of pain greater than 0.05, which shown a statistics significance. The duration of pain during defecation for the two groups of patients in 24h within 1-4 days post operation at different time points P valued greater than 0.05, which result was statistically significant. The number of patients who needed to be injected analgesic tramadol on the day of surgery, with a P=0.762> 0.05, no significant difference noted.Comparing the sleep quality of two groups of patients between the preoperative and the first day postoperative quality of sleep, P> 0.05, showing that there's no significant difference before surgery. The third to the fifth postoperative day, two groups of patients with sleep quality scores P<0.05, which was significantly different from preoperative sleep quality. By comparing the postoperative urinary conditions, with P=0.009<0.05, two groups of patients shows significant difference in urine situation.ConclusionAcupuncture analgesia embedding can ease the pain of defecation, effectively reduce the duration of postoperative pain and improve sleep quality and postoperative urine, and thereby improve the quality of life of patients and is effective and safe, which is of high clinical value.
