Researching In The Effect Of Gastrointestinal Function In Patients With Colon Cancer Resection By Electrical Acupuncture Lower Confluent Point

Colorectal cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the digestive tract, the third highest cause of cancer death in。According to statistics, colorectal cancer worldwide number of new cases each year is 94 million, and 50 million people a year die from colorectal cancer the past. Colorectal cancer has become a threat to human life and health of the disease cannot be ignored. Surgical treatment of colorectal cancer as an important means, a large number of patients receiving surgical treatment every year. However, after surgery in colorectal cancer, due to anesthesia, surgical stimulation and before or after surgery, and other factors, prone to gastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction, some patients with significant abdominal distension, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and other complications. It's a great influence to the postoperative recovery of patients and the future quality of life.Purpose:In this study, by electrical stimulation in patients with colorectal cancer under the combined points, gastric motility observed in these patients' recovering after surgery, as well as colorectal cancer using the method of postoperative complications. By contrast, under the joint assessment of electric acupuncture points on the promotion of colorectal cancer patients the recovery of gastrointestinal function and the role of reducing the incidence of postoperative complications. To find an effective, simple and inexpensive solution to colorectal cancer patients aftergastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction method, as to improve the recovery of patients, shorter hospital stay, reducing hospital costs.Methods:Divided 60 inpatient routine colon cancer patients with radical surgery, who were collected from May 2010- March 2011 in The Chinese Medicine Hospital, Guangzhou, general surgery into two groups. Observed group has 31 patients, in addition to conventional treatment outside surgery, such as after fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, early activity, drug treatment, since the first day after the other, to the power of acupuncture lower confluent point (zusanli, shangjuxu, xiajuxu),Once a day; Control group,29 patients, just conventional treatment. Patients in each group were recorded for the first time the exhaust, defecation, and the incidence of postoperative complications.Results:The average for the first time after the observation group exhaust, shorten the defecation time than the control group, and statistically significant difference (P<0.05);Observation group, gastrointestinal disorders, abdominal pain, cramps and other gastrointestinal complications, less the number of patients, compared with the control group, significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:Lower confluent point electroacupuncture can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function after colorectal cancer, and in the prevention of postoperative gastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal complications such as abdominal pain cramps have a role. Second, lower confluent point mainly in the lower extremities, patients after their operations impact on smaller, generally well-tolerated. Thus as an effective, inexpensive way to use and can be applied to other abdominal surgery patients.
