Object:To detect the clinical value of procalcitonin(PCT) in impetigo neonatorum with sepsisMethods:The study was retrospeetive analysis.One hundred and thirty-severn impetigo neonatorum cases were enrolled. All of them were admitted to care unit of the guangzhou Economic and Tehnological Development Hospital during 2006-2010.Thneonates were composed of mature(n=125),premmature(n=12)according to gestational age.Neonates without bacterial infection (n=118)according to final clinical dagnosis.According to aims of our study,neonates were divided into three groups,impetigo neonatorum with sepsis call A group(n=9); impetigo neonatorum call B group(n=128);and without bacterial infection call C group(n=118).Every experiment object strictly sterile picks.With half quantitative immediately with 200μl serum solidphase immune chromatography test. Two groups of pustular sore blood culture. Between the two groups econometric analysis by using two sample t-test data statistics analysis; Counting material adopts a chi-square test were statistically analyzed.Result:When PCT>0.5ng/ml,neonatal pustular sore group (A+B group) and the infection group (group C) compared with significant statistical significance. (P<0.01)When PCT>2ng/ml,neonatal pustular sore merger neonatal sepsis group (group A) and neonatal pustular sore group (group B) compared with the significant statistical significance. (P<0.01)When PCT>2ng/ml, neonatal pustular sore group (group B) with the infection group (group C) no significant statistical significance compared (P>0.05)When PCT>2ng/ml,PCT-Q method and the blood culture results significantly compared (P<0.01) Conclusion:Bacterial infection that when elevated serum PCT early, when PCT>0.5 ng/ml, clinical suggests the presence of bacterial infections, when 2ng/ml PCT>,as a newborn pustular sore merger sepsis early diagnosis of valuable indicators...
