ObjectiveLower abdominal aorta occlusion technique was applied for experiment research on pig lower abdominal aorta temporary interdiction, thereby obtaining the effect of pig lower abdominal aorta interdiction on abdominal aorta wall damage. Preliminary approach and theoretical basis can be provided for finding out safety time of pig lower abdominal aorta interdiction and indirectly proving the time of human lower abdominal aorta interdiction.Materials and MethodsBanna small-ear pigs were adopted as experimental animals, and pig lower abdominal aorta interdiction materials designed by ourself were used for simulating clinical human lower abdominal aorta interdiction surgery mode for animal experiment. Experimental animals:Banna small-ear pigs provided by Experimental Animal Center of Kunming Medical College with weight of 15-20Kg and female gender were randomly divided into three groups A, B and C,12 in Group A and Group B respectively, and 12 in group C.45 minute group of pig lower abdominal aorta temporary interdiction was established, namely, test group A,60 minute group of pig lower abdominal aorta temporary interdiction was established, namely, test group B, C group was the control group, and abdomens of pigs in the group were opened to disclose the aorta without interdiction. Animals of Group A, Group B and Group C were executed two weeks after surgery, interdiction abdominal aorta samples were respectively taken out, and general sample shapes were observed with naked eyes, the interdiction samples were selected for pathological examination, the intima was observed to see whether inflammation reaction was available or not, the intima hyperplasia, hyperplasia degree, and whether the internal elastic membrane was ruptured or not, and the data obtained statistical treatment analysis.Results1.Histological results:the intima and the mesolamella in the interdiction 45 minute group (group A)generated hyperplasia one week after removing the interdiction, inflammatory cell invasion was available, the membrane structure was integral, the vascular wall structure was clear with no thrombus and lumen occlusion. The intima and the mesolamella in the interdiction 60 minute group (group B) generated medium and severe hyperplasia, infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells was available, external elastic membrane was ruptured, and vascular wall structure was still clear with no thrombus and lumen occlusion. The interdiction time and interdiction artery damage were positively correlated with repair. Interdiction for 60 minutes can cause porcine abdominal aortic adventitia irreversible damage. The interdiction time less than 60 minutes may damage pig blood vessel damage without complications such as blood clots, vascular occlusion and the like. Blocking in 60 minutes can causes mechanical irreversible damage of lining and outer membrane of pig abdominal aortic.Blocking in 45 minutes can not causes mechanical irreversible damage of lining and outer membrane of pig abdominal aortic Ratio of mesolamella and intima:the difference of mesolamella cross section areas in all groups was not significant (P> 0.05), the intima and mesolamella cross section area rates in Group A and Group B were prominently higher than Group C (P<0.05), and the difference was prominent when Group A was compared with Group B. (P<0.05)ConclusionsThe result show that 45-60 minutes is the safety of blocking pig abdominal aorta,it provide a scientific, accurate and may refer to the theoretical basis for blocking the abdominal aorta in clinical...
