Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics, related factors and to compare the effects of several therapeutic groups of Mooren's corneal ulcer.Methods:21 consecutive in-patients with Mooren's corneal ulcer were clinically analyzed, including the age, sex, the depth and range of ulcer, rate of perforation, immunological tests, as well as curative effect of 3 groups of treatment, which are the group of pure medicine, the group of non-corneal tranplantation surgery plus medicine, the group of corneal tranplantation surgery plus medicine.Results:The ratio of male to female was 2:1, the average age of male was 57 years old, the average age of female was 62.7 years old, bilateral disease occurred in 7 cases (33.3%), the rate of perforation is 14.3%, the range of ulcer occupying less than 1/3 circumference were 9 eyes, between 1/3-2/3 circumference were 12 eyes, more than 2/3 circumference were 7 eyes. The cure rate of the group of pure medicine was 58.8%, the group of non-corneal tranplantation surgery plus medicine was 66.7%, the group of corneal tranplantation surgery plus medicine was 66.7%.Conclusion:The application of synthesis of various medicines and non-corneal tranplantation surgery can improve the therapeutic validity.
