The Clinical Observation Of Ebastine Which Is Used For Treating Allergic Rhinitis And The Evaluation Of Its Applicable Value

Allergic rhinitis is a kind of allergic disease, which is induced when the allergens contact to nasal mucous membrane. It is one of the common diseases in otolaryngology. Its sympotoms include sneezing, rhinorrhoea, nasal itching, nasal obstruction etc. At present, the incidence of allergic rhinitis increases obviously in a certain range, particularly in some cities. There are reports show that allergic rhinitis may induce the bronchus asthma and nasal polyps, paranasal sinusitis, otitis media. The symptoms and complications of allergic rhinitis have seriously influenced people's daily study, work and life quality. Lots of reports in the literature, allergic rhinitis has not just a health issue, it even involves a deeper level of social and economic crisis. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis is urgently needed. Currently antihistamines (H1 receptor antagonist) get the curative effect of treating allergic rhinitis. There are many kinds of antihistamine drugs used in clinical treatment, but the value of clinical applications is limited by their side reaction and drug resistance. Thus we need to find a kind of drugs to cure this disease. Ebastine is a kind of second-generation antihistamines. It reports that it has curative effect for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. But it is still lack of systematic research in the northeastern region. This study selected 59 outpatients, who see a doctor in the first affiliated hospital of Jilin university. They were clearly diagnosed as allergic rhinitis. We analysis the scores, patients have different symptoms before and after being treated by Ebastine. At the same time we choose the glucocorticoid used in topical nose as contrast references. As a result, the effect of ebastine and glucocorticoid is obvious. The symptoms are reduced markedly. The effective power achieves to 100%, with no adverse reactions. Thus, ebastine is the best choose for patients in north- east of China. It brings the Gospel to patients.Objective: The methods which are used for treating allergic rhinitis are numerous, but many of their value of clinical applications are affected by its limitations. Ebastine is a kind of new drugs for curing allergic rhinitis. The purpose of this research is to analysis the clinical observation of ebastine and the evaluation of its application. This experiment proved that its effective power achieves to 100%, with no adverse reactions. Its low toxicity and safety are trusted by patients. 3,To compare the treatment of ebastine for allergic rhinitis and the effect of whether merging local glucocorticoids nasal medication, there is no obvious difference. Thus, ebastine can be separately used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis,for curing symptoms rapidly.
