Drug is the substance that was not only used for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, but also used for regulating human physiological functions for which indications or functions, usage, dosage. It was a special and indispensable commodity which was use to prevent and cure diseases, protect human health.Therefore, drug quality must be controlled comprehensively in order to ensure its safty, reasonableness, validity when it is used. The trend of drug analysis is to determine the trace pharmaceutcial ingredient of the complex samples simply and reliably.To adapt to this request, spectrographic method has become one of the most essential and important methods in the determination of drugs analysis due to its easy apparatus, simple procedure, high selectivity and sensitivity.The aim of this dissertation is to explore simpler, more sensitive determination methods about antibiotic drugs of levofloxacin,with using spectrophotometry as research means.The major contents are described as follows :1. An introduction of the application of quinolone antibacterial and the determination of levofloxacin are given in this part.2. Established a fluorometry for the determination of LVFX-CdS-Zn2+: The sodium hexametaphosphate as a stabilizer, thioglycolic acid as a modifier, CdS quantum dots with excellent optical properties has been synthesized in aqueous solution. in B - R buffer solution,a rapid Fluorescence method for the determination of levofloxacin has been proposed, based on the levofloxacin fluorescence could be increased by Zn2+.The method has been successfully applied to the determination of levofloxacin tablets and capsules,and compared with the pharmacopoeia method (HPLC) ,with satisfactory results.3. Established the determination of levofloxation with LVFX-CdS-BSA system by Fluorescence Quenching: The fluorescence intensity of CdS-BSA can be decreased by LVFX significantly, and can be quantitatively determined by Fluorescence method at 545nm. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of levofloxacin tablets and capsules, and compared with the pharmacopoeia method (HPLC) , with satisfactory results. 4. Researched spectrophotometric determination of levofloxacin sensitizedby by LVFX-Al3+-SDS micellar system:in B - R buffer solution(pH3.8),researched some kinds of surfactant on system about the influence of ultraviolet absorption,and founded that nonionic surfactant twain - 80 and dodecyl cationic surfactants three methyl brominated ammonium(DTAB)have lightly ultraviolet absorption on this system,but anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) has strong radiosensitizing effect on this system. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of levofloxacin tablets.5. Based on the obviously absorption in the visible area of the levofloxacin and the complex which produced by Congo red (CR)and malachite green(MG), we determined the Congo red - malachite green - LVFX spectrophotometry the content: in pH3.55 NaAc-HAc solution, CR maximum absorbance at 498nm, MG maximum absorbance at 618nm, but LVFX has no absorption in the visible area. The absorption is no change at 498 nm when CR mixed with LVFX; there was not good linear relationship of the reaction between levofloxacin and MG. Although there was no significant linear correlation of the reaction between malachite green and Congo red, there was good linear relationship of the reaction between levofloxacin and the complex which generated by Congo red and malachite green (CR). The absorption of this reaction system was gradually strong at 618nm when the concentration of levofloxacin increasing. Finally, we found a new method to measure the content of levofloxacin.
