Aim To study the effect of electric acupuncture on different points to the peak value of the pressure in the healthy rabbits'bladder when urinating. To probe which points are better for adjusting the pressure in rabbits'bladder.Means Using the method of personal contrast between the beginning and the end. Select Zusanli, Shenshu, Pangguangshu, Ciliao, Weizhong, Yongquan, Yanglingquan, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 1st lumbar vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 5th lumbar vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 1st sacral vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 3rd sacral vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 4th sacral vertebra. Perform electric acupuncture on the health New Zealand big ears rabbits, using a voltage of 0.4mV, consequent waveform, high frequency. Keep the stimulating till the experiment is end. Gauge the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating before and after electric acupuncture.Result (1)After stimulating Pangguangshu, Ciliao, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 3rd sacral vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 4th sacral vertebra by electric acupuncture, the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder appear to be lower than that before stimulating by electric acupuncture. Stimulating on other points by electric acupuncture have no obvious effect on the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder. The difference of the peak value of the peak pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating between before and after electric acupuncture on each point except the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 4th sacral vertebra has no meaning of statistics (P>0.05). (2) Stimulating on Ciliao by electric acupuncture have more obvious effect of lowering the peak pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating than stimulating Shenshu. Stimulating on Ciliao and Pangguangshu have similar effects of lowering the peak pressure in the rabbits' bladder when urinating. The effect of stimulating on Shenshu is different from that of stimulating on the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 1st lumbar vertebra or the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 5th lumbar vertebra. Stimulating on Ciliao, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 3rd sacral vertebra, the point under and 1.5cm aside the spine of 4th sacral vertebra have similar effect to lower the peak pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating. The differences of the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating between different points have no meaning of statistics (P>0.05).Conclusion Electric acupuncture cannot alter the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating. There is no difference of effect to the peak value of the pressure in the rabbits'bladder when urinating between different points.
