Electro-acupuncture Combined With Psychotherapy In The Treatment Of Clinical Symptom And Event-related Potential In Patients With Internet Addiction

Objective:Comparative study of electro-acupuncture, psychotherapy and electro-acupuncture combined with psychotherapy in the treatment of clinical symptom and event-related potential in patients with Internet Addiction. For clinical treatment and assessment of efficacy to provide a simple, safe and effective standardized treatment programs.Methods:Stochastic and Comparative methods are applied in the tail. 120 cases of IAD to meet diagnostic standards and inclusion criteria were randomly and evenly divided into an EA group, a psychotherapy group and an EA plus psychotherapy group. Changes of score of IAD, score of TCM Syndromes scale, score of Self-rating Depression scale (SDS), score of Hamilton depression scale (HAMD), score of Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90) and event-related potential content before and after treatment were observed.Result:(1)There was a significant difference about the score of TCM Syndromes scale, score of SDS, score of HAMD and SCL-90 between before and after treatment (P<0.05). It shows that both EA group, psychotherapy group and an EA plus psychotherapy group has a certain effect on the easing of the clinical symptom.(2)Compared with the EA and the psychotherapy, the EA plus psychotherapy treatment has a good effect on the easing of TCM Syndromes, the degree of internet addiction, mental symptoms. Compared with the psychotherapy, the EA plus psychotherapy treatment has a good effect on the easing of the depression.(3)ERP aspects The EA plus psychotherapy group has a significant difference of amplitude of MMN and CNV between before and after treatment. The psychotherapy group has a significant difference of the area of CNV between before and after treatment. The EA group has a significant difference of the PINV prolonged rate between before and after treatment. Compared with the psychotherapy and the EA plus psychotherapy, the EA treatment has a good effect on reducing the PINV prolonged rate.Conclusion:The electro-acupuncture combined with psychotherapy in treatment of the patients with Internet Addiction can improve clinical symptom. Compared with the EA and the psychotherapy, the EA plus psychotherapy treatment has a good effect on treating IAD. It is worth further study.
