Flexible Intramedullary Nails And External Fixation In The Surgical Treatment Of Children Femoral Fractures In Contrast

Materials and Methods:Collection of Orthopaedic Hospital of Tianjin in paediatric ward in January 2006 to December to hospitalization of femoral fractures flexible intramedullary nail in the treatment of cases and Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in January 2006 to March 2007 orthopedic ward children femoral fractures External fixator treatment of cases, compared two groups of children in age, fracture type, location and treatment of fractures after the occurrence of complications.Results:By contrast, flexible intramedullary nails and external fixation in the patient's age, fracture site, fractures in both types of application, but flexible intramedullary nail complication rate decreased significantly, the long spiral fracture less flexible intramedullary nail in effect than Fixator.
