The Clinical Research Of Bi Qing Yin On Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:In this study, the use of Chinese medicine theory, laboratory and clinical research from the basic explorision of Bi Qing Yin in treating Rheumatoid arthritis,the Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ), American College of Rheumatology 20% improvement criteria (ACR20),and Disease Activity Score28(DAS28)comprehensive and objective evaluation of Bi Qing Yin right before and after treatment with active Rheumatoid arthritis of Pathogenesis and Treatment of prescriptions for a more systematic in-depth manner. Bi Qing Yin as the basic prescription, drawn up in order to benefit for the Observer Group to Methotrexate alone for the Control Group. Method:We divide stochastically 60 example patients into 2 groups, use the Chinese medicine to experiment group and the western medicine to control group separately, the observation deadline 6 months. Validity observation included the main index of the curative effect:HAQ measure scale,ACR20,DAS28,the therapeutic effect on symptom of TCM:the secondary index: symptoms/body signs,subjective index,laboratory index and so on. Security observations mostly included bad events and analysis of the laboratory abnormal indexes.The standard of evaluating used the internationally recognized recommendation of RA disease curative effect standards ACR20,the Health Assessment Questionnaire and the joint Partial symptoms and TCM syndrome assessment criterion(Chinese material new drug clinical research guidance).Result:The results showed a significantly different total validity rate of 90% to 70%, a significant control-validity difference between the observer group 70.00%, and Methotrexate group 26.67%, The comprehend index of ACR20 showed:after 24 weeks the improvement rate of ACR20 in the Observer Group was 23.33 higher than the Control Group and the results showed that the difference was statistics significance(P<0.05). Meanwhile,the observer group is better than the control group in improving symptoms/body signs,subjective index,laboratory index,HAQ measure scale and so forth. Conclusion:It is proved that the theory of heat,dampness,congestion and toxin is the main pathogenesis of Rheumatoid Arthritis in active stage.The treatment of clearing heat and toxic,eliminating dampness,removing the obstruction in meridians,activating blood and dispersing stasis is effective.
