Objective:Conduct health control of diabetes patients through the comprehensive intervention of health education plus network-platform-based regular follow-up visits, and make a comprehensive assessment of the health control effect from changes in objective indexes, patients'cognition and behavior, etc. Method:Employ the method of random clinical trial and divide at random the 100 diabetes patients in need of health control, who are chosen from Division of Endocrinology of the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, into experimental group and control group, the former group enjoying systematic health education and regular follow-up visits through the aid of a medical network platform while the latter only receiving medication and ordinary health publicity and education and follow-up visits. All the patients receive 3 questionnaire surveys both 3 months before and after the intervention, namely "Specificity Scale of Diabetes Patients'Living Quality", "Questionnaire of Related Knowledge about Diabetes" and "Questionnaire of Self-control Ability", and in the meantime changes in the patients' biochemical indexes are recorded. Results:Firstly, the total score of the research objects' compliable behavior before the intervention is 38±7.305, which is at the average level; after the intervention the score is 17.75±3.392 and is at a high level. There is a remarkable difference between the two scores (t=-14.577, P<0.01). Secondly, the total score of the research objects' self-control ability before the intervention is 33.06±4.697, and is at a low level; after the intervention the score is 33.06±4.697 and is at the average level. There is a remarkable difference between the two scores (t=-20.335, P<0.01). Conclusion:Firstly, before the comprehensive intervention of health education plus medical-network-platform-based follow-up visits, the diabetes patients' cognition of related knowledge, living quality and self-control ability are all at a relatively low level. Secondly, the comprehensive intervention of health education plus medical-network-platform-based follow-up visits is practicable and effective in the improvement of the diabetes patients' cognition of related knowledge, living quality and self-control ability and also in the prevention of diabetes. Thirdly, the comprehensive intervention of health education plus medical-network-platform-based follow-up visits can improve the diabetes patients'cognition of related knowledge, living quality and self-control ability and thus can provide a referable control model for other chronic diseases.
