Purpose:Clinical observation of acupuncture therapy on the plasma cutter and traditional Chinese medicine cervical nerve root and to compare the clinical efficacy study, widely for clinical treatment of nerve root plasma cutter provide the basis for cervical spondylosis.Methods:During April 2006-December 2009, at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital orthopedic ward, we selected 60 standard cases of cervical nerve root spondylosis Randomly assigned to control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group, control group, acupuncture therapy, the treatment group were down in the X-ray machines, plasma cutter low temperature ablation treatment, and then observed the symptoms score.Result:(1)The good rate and total effective rate of the treatment group was 76.67% and 93.33%,the good rate and total effective rate of Control group was 70% and 86.67%.(2) After treatment, pain, numbness, discomfort, signs of scoring significantly lower than before treatment, with significant differences (p<0.01);groups before and after treatment difference scores in pain, discomfort treatment improvement group was significantly better than the control group there was a significant difference (p<0.01).In the numbness symptoms and signs, the treatment group and control group no significant difference (p>0.05);(3)After treatment, medical examination, muscle strength, medical history, pulse and X-tongue integrated scores significantly decreased after treatment, the difference was significant (p <0.05).Conclusion:(1)Treated by plasma knife and knife for nerve root type cervical spondylosis, patients' clinical symptoms and signs are improved or cured, Obvious superiority of the plasma cutter;(2) Plasma knife treatment for nerve root type cervical spondylosis significantly improved efficacy, quickened onset and made efficacy stable. Besides, the operation is simple, minimally invasive, safe, good efficacy, good compliance of patients, and after surgery it does not affect treatment.
