| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shenghuazhixueyin in the treatment of vagina bleeding after abortion in blood stasis syndromes, and to provide the scientific basis for the clinical application of Shenghuazhixueyin.Methods: Selected sixty-one patients with vagina bleeding after abortion in blood stasis syndromes, and divided them randomly into Shenghuazhixueyin group and yimucao group, thirty-one cases in the first group and thirty cases in the second. Two groups all took the medicine in the first day and continued 7 days as a course of treatment. Then observed the situations of hemostasis, clinical symptoms and uterine involution after a course of treatment.Results:1. Effect of hemostasis: A total effective rate of 96.77% was shown in Shenghuazhixueyin group, and 83.33% in yimucao group. There were significant differences between two groups ( P﹤0.05) . It showed that Shenghuazhixueyin had better effect than yimucao.2. Effect of syndromes: A total effective rate of 93.55% was shown in Shenghuazhixueyin group, and 80.00% in yimucao group. There were significant difference between two groups ( P﹤0.05) . It showed that Shenghuazhixueyin had better effect than yimucao.3. Variation of uterine involution: There were significant differences of the Three tracks and uterus of the two groups between those in the pre- and post-treatment( P﹤0.05). It showed that the two groups all had the effects of stimulating contractions of the uterus. No significant differences between the two groups before the treatment was found ( P >0.05). But there were significant differences between the two groups after the treatmen(t P<0.05). It could be concluded that the treatment group had better effect than the control group.Conclusion: Shenghuazhixueyin had good effect in the treatment of vagina bleeding after abortion in blood stasis syndromes. It could significantly reduce the time of vagina bleeding, improve the associated clinical symptoms and stimulate contractions of the uterus.
