Comparative Analysis Of Ultrasonic Imaging Diagnosis And Pathological Diagnosis Of Breast Lump

Objective:Discuss the diagnosis accuracy of breast tumor by ultrasound with cross-check analysis of ultrasonic imaging and pathology.Methods:500 samples of breast masses were obtained by surgery, pathology and ultrasound diagnosis were retrospectively analyzed.Results:In 500 samples, it includes 436 benign samples,64 samples of malignant tumors. There are 148 samples of fibroadenoma,47 samples of comedomastitis,59 samples of cyst of breast,62 samples of galactocele,35 samples of galactapostema,37 samples of intraductal Papilloma,other benign tumor,10 samples of intraductal carcinoma,49 cases of infiltrating duct carcinoma,5 samples of infiltrating lobular carcinoma.Conclusion:(1)The accuracy rate of localization by ultrasound is 100%. The key point of localization is tumor's morphology of ultrasonogram.Direct signs include shape,position,directon,diameter and the anteroposterior diameter ratio of the edge contour,internal echo,the sound absorption properties.Indirect signs include distorted near the structure,or the suspensory ligament is retracted into a corner,with or without ductal ectasia, changes of skin,subcutaneous fat and pectoralis major.Dynamic observation include the compressibility and activity of mass.(2) It is difficult to distinguish benign breast disease and precancerous lesions by ultrasound examination, but with its specific menifestations such as spiculation and malignant ring, echo-free areas within the tumor and the blood flow signal, diagnosis accuracy rate of breast lumps can be improved significantly. The common benign breast disease, such as cyst of breast, fibroadenoma, galactocele,intraductal breast tumor, granulomatous mastitis, shows its characteristic clearly in ultrasound image.(3) By comparison of ultrasound images and pathology results, the ultrasound examination shows high practical value in positioning and auxiliary diagnosis.
