Objective To analysis the variation of hepatic artery and its branches in liver cancer patients and provide some useful interventional treatment guidanceMethods Retrospective analysis 500 cases of liver cancer patients'DSA material and observe the origins, distribution and variation of hepatic artery and its branches; according to Michels classification, The hepatic artery outside of the Michels I typeclassified as variation hepatic arteries; count the number of every types of Michels and calculate the incidentce. We drew a parallel among Michels autopsy group, Lvpeng Hua, Lu Chuan group and this study; use statistical methods to analysis the various types'variation and respective distribution characteristics; and summarize the characteristic of variant arterial including the incidence,The origins and distribution. Results 410 cases of Michels I were found, account for 82.0%of the total; 90 cases of variant arterial were found, account for 18.0%. In those variant arterial,2 cases belong to Michelsâ…¡, account for 0.4%of the total; 46 cases belong to Michelsâ…¢, account for 9.2%; 0 cases belong to Michelsâ…£; 3 cases belong to Michelsâ…¤, account for 0.6%; 1 cases belong to Michelsâ…¥, account for 0.2%; 0 cases belong to Michelsâ…¦; 0 cases belong to Michelsâ…§; 11 cases belong to Michelsâ…¨, account for 2.2%; 0 cases belong to Michelsâ…©.27 of the cases were out of the Michels classification which accountted 5.4%; There is poor consistency of the various types'variation and its distribution between our groups and the other groups.58 cases of variant arterial, which supply the tumor directly, were found, account for 11.6%. In those special arterial,41 cases of variant arterial originated from arteriae mesenterica superior, account for 70.6%; 4 cases of variant arterial originated from arteriae gastrica sinistra, account for 6.9%; 1 cases of variant arterial originated from arteriae hepatica communis, account for 1.7%; 5 cases of variant arterial originated from truncus coeliacus, account for 5.2%; 4 cases of variant arterial originated from arteriae gastroduodenalis, account for 6.9%Conclusion The hepatic artery anatomical variations with complexity and diversity; Michels classification can't fully generalized the typing of hepatic artery; It is very important to understand the classification and variation of hepatic artery in the treatment of liver cancer.
