Monitoring Of Serum IGFBP-2 In Patients With Glioma And Its Clinical Significance

OBJECTIVE:By examining the Concentration of Serum IGFBP-2 in different cases of glioma,to investigate the Expression of Serum insulin like growth factor binding protein-2 in the Glioma patients and its clinical significance.Methods: the Concentration of Serum IGFBP-2 was tested by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 20 healthy subject(scontrol group), and 74 cases of glioma(gradeIV 26,gradeIII14,gradeII27 and grade I 7)。Assestumor size and relapse at admission in patients,they were analyzed to use appropriate statistical software。Results : There is no apparent relation between Serum IGFBP-2 Concentration and the gender or age. But Serum IGFBP-2 Concentration in high-grade gliomas was significantly higher than controls,and the high-grade gliomas Concentration was hiagher than the low-grade; As the tumor increases, IGFBP-2 concentrations Continuously increased in gradeIV gliomas; The serum IGFBP-2 level patients with glioma relapse was higher than that in ones with no glioma Relapse。Conclunsion:The detection of IGFBP-2 Concentration was beneficial for judging disease condition and Malignant,and investigate relapse.
