Uterine leiomyoma is the most common smooth cell tumor for the women, which is in "Zhengjia" category in traditional Chinese medicine. The main treatment method is surgery. As the idea of "minimally invasive" drew into the surgery, to retain the uterus and reproductive function has became a research focus in the uterine leiomyoma treatment. This study was designed to develop a new Chinese remedy with the effect of benefiting upright, activating blood and removing the blood stasis used for to speeding up the tumor absorption, improve the cure rate and symptoms and prevent recurrence, which was based on integration of traditional and western medicine, building on the positive of radiofrequency ablation and Chinese remedy overall regulation. The study based on the Traditional Chinese Drug Research Guide, as the pharmacological effect part of the project of "Development of Qiguixiaozheng particle" in Chengdu Science and Technology Agency, is to observe the effects of Qiguixiaozheng particles on animal model with inflammation, pain and blood stasis to provide experimental basis for the new Chinese remedy used in conservative treating the uterine leiomyoma with radiofrequency ablation. The experimental results are given to show that Qiguixiaozheng particles has obvious inhibition effects on anti-inflammator, including rats ear swelling induced by dimethylbenzene, paw swelling induced by egg white and granuloma induced by plastic ring. Qiguixiaozheng particles also has obvious inhibition effects on analgesia induced by thermal stimulation and acetic acid. It has significantly effect on lowing the blood viscosity, hematocrit and erythrocyte rigidity index.
