Clinical Study Of The Treatment For AHZ By Cupping Combined With Electro-acupuncture

Objectives:To observe the efficacy of cupping combined with acupuncture for the disease of AHZ in this clinical randomized controlled trial.Methods:68 in all volunteers suffering from AHZ were divided into treatment group and control group randomly, and 66 allowed the whole progressing, only 2 were exclused.Volunteers in treatment group were received cupping combined with acupuncture, once a day for 10 days, and control group were treated with valaciclovir hydrochloride taken orally,0.6g, twice a day for 10 days. The curative effect was evaluated by scale point including 3 aspects after treating end:symptoms, pain,herpes, and local skin lesion record with digital camera.Results:(1)The baseline of the treatment group and control group were almost alined and comparability (P>0.05).(2) The significant effective rate of the treatment group is 60%, and the control group is 40%,. The difference of the total effective rate between the two groups were not obvious(P>0.05).(3)The pain intensity of pre-treatment to pro-treatment, the pain intensity of pro-treatment between treatment and control group,both showed the treatment group was more effective(P<0.05).(4)The pain resting stage was shorten in treatment group compared to control group(P<0.05).(5)The time of decrustation were shorten in treatment group compared to control group(P<0.05). (6)the skin lesion area of pre-treatment to pro-treatment were obvious different. (7)The pain recurrence of the treatment group in 30 days was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Cupping combined with acupuncture can not only obviously release the pain caused by AHZ, but also can shorten the time of paincontinuing and reduce the skin lesion area effectively compared with valaciclovir hydrochlorid.(2) The pain recurrence of the treatment group in 30 days was significantly lower than the control group.(3)The method of Cupping combined with acupuncture is simple, fewer adverse reaction, efficacy, better security than valaciclovir hydrochloride therapy, and appropriate clinical use of the promotion.
