Objective:To investigate the first syndrome,skin lesion,distribution of the TCM syndrome and the effective characteristics of the TCM and WM from retrospective analysis of 29 cases of scleroderma, in order to offer the theories and methods to the treatment of scleroderma by TCM and WM treatment.Methods:Retrospective analysis of the clinical features, the clinical manifestations, the symptoms and signs of pre and post treatment in the 29 cases of scleroderma.Result:In these cases, most of them whose the first syndrome manifest Raynaud's phenomenon,arthralgia,skin swelling and sclerosis. Among them, the first syndrome of 15 cases manifest Raynaud's phenomenon (51.72%),9 cases manifest skin swelling and sclerosis; the other 5 cases manifest arthralgia TCM and WM treatment are given to all of the 29 cases, including D-penicillamine, colchicine glucocorticoid in low-dosage. Prescription drugs according to the view of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The clinical syndromes, including the length of teeth,the Span and Rodnan's integration, improved after therapy. None of patients has significant side effects.Conclusion:The retrospective analysis confirms that TCM and WM treatment for scleroderma can improve the clinical symptoms and body signs of patient. With respect to security, the 29 cases of patients have good security, with few side effects.
