Schizophrenia has a high tendency of recurrence, requiring long-term drug maintenance therapy, medication compliance has been a daunting problem in the schizophrenia, because of patients and their families were inadequate attention to the disease,did not know how to use drugs and lack of confidence in the treatment of disease, poor family supervision and support, etc. It often caused relapse and decreased social function of patients, even mental disability, brought a greater burden to families and society.Numerous studies have already confirmed that family intervention treatment and drug skills training to improve patient compliance and reduce the relapse rate has a positive role. Through these two channels to maximize the elimination the wrong ideas and practices in treatment of the patients and their families, establish a correct understanding and minimize the human factors as medication compliance and lower case, so as to maintain patients with stable disease and reduce the disease recurrence rate, reduce the personal, family and social burden, as far as possible return to the family and society.This study observed the efficacy and compliance with drug self-management skills combined family intervention.90 patients and their healthy family caregivers were arranged into the observer group(44 patients) and control group(46 patients).After analysis of the index such as PANSS, CGI,HAMD,HAMA,PSP,TESS etc. Following conclusions are made:1. Through drug self-management skills combined family intervention treatment, the drug compliance was better than the control group. And relapse rate decreased significantly, Social function improved significantly better than the control group in the 12 end.2. Improvement of psychiatric symptoms than the control group, and the more significant in the 12 end. PANSS reduction rate to 50% for the industry to judge efficacy, Compared the control group, efficacy was better,SI score was lower, the reduced rate of score was higher, GI score was lower.3. Significant improvement in patients with depression is in the 12 end, Anxiety of patients improved significantly in different observation time than the control group. Anxiety and depression of healthy family caregivers improved very significantly in different observation time than the control group.4. Through family intervention treatment, mastering the mental health knowledge was higher than healthy family caregivers of the control group.5. The two groups in different observation time, laboratory and function tests and drugs side effects had no clinically meaningful differences.Summary, drug self-management skills combined family intervention could well improve patients'medication compliance, reduce the risk of relapse and reduce re-hospitalization in patients. So that patients can be relaxed and open to the gradual rehabilitation of the home environment, improve their social function, conducive to return to society.
