With the rapid economic development, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) as a kind of nano-materials, has been widely used in industrial and commercial areas; Due to the high copper fungicides, insecticides, fertilizers and other unreasonable used, high copper of dung maked agricultural farmland contaminated, and increased pollution of soil environment of copper. so many researchers at home and abroad paid attention to the copper toxicity problem of the plant. In this study, the coecotoxicological effects of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and Cuz+ on ryegrass were carried out in indoor simulated experiment. Firstly, the toxicity effects on ryegrass were investigated at individual factors respectively, such as the COOH-MWCNT, OH-MWCNT,1020-MWCNT and Cu2+. Furthermore, the coecotoxicological effects of MWCNT and Cu2+ on ryegrass were conducted by determining the ryegrass growth status, physiological and biochemical indicators and Cu2+ content in root. The results show that(1) The coecotoxicology of MWCNT and Cu2+ on ryegrass at low concentrations showed antagonism, while high concentrations showed synergy.(2)at 50 mg/L of MWCNT, biomass, root length and contents of chlorophyll decresed with time. contents of MDA and Cu2+ in the ryegrass roots increased with time.(3) Comparison of the effects of MWCNTs on the ryegrass is MWCNT-COOH>MWCNT-1020.
