Study On The TCM Syndrome Patterns Of People With Impaired Glucose Regulation

Objective:The outbreak rate of diabetes mellitus continuously gets trend,the main idea is inquiry to analyze distributed characteristics of the Chinese medicine type of IGR and relative factors, to improve the Chinese medicine clinical treatment effect of IGR.Methods:Make use of inquisition form to observe people of IGR from 2009,2 to 2010,1 in my hospital, collect their relative main factors including course of illness,age, height, weight, chemistry relative factors and their symptom, tongue demonstration, pulse tracings. The application gets a type of the Chinese medicine type diagnosis, apply SPSS (the Social Science of the Statistical package) 16.0 carry on statistical analysis, analyzes IGR of the Chinese medicine type distribution, analyzes IGR of the Chinese medicine type relate to chemistry relative factors.Results:(1) The research includes five types are liver qi depression(LQD), spleen deficiency and wet-sheng(SDAW), hyperactivity of liver yang(HOLY), extreme heat due to deficiency of yin(EHDTDOY), damp heat encumbering the spleen(DHETS). Liver qi depression most accounts for 33.6%, spleen deficiency and wet-sheng followed by 27.2%, hyperactivity of liver yang has 16%, extreme heat due to deficiency of yin hasl2.8%, damp heat encumbering the spleen least has 10.4%.(2) The level of BMI of SDAW and DHETS are higher than normal, higher than that in the other three types(P<0.Ol); the level of BMI of EHDTDOY are lower than normal, and lower than that in the other types(P<0.Ol); the difference of BMI between LQD and HOLY are not significant(P>0.05); the difference of BMI between SDAW and DHETS are not significant(P>0.05).(3) The level of glucose in the five groups are not significant(P>0.05).(4) The level of TG of SDAW and DHETS are higher than normal, different from other types; the level of TC and HDL in the five groups have significant, but they are in the normal range; the level of LDL in the five groups are normal, and are not significant.Conclusion:(1) The Chinese medicine type of IGR includes five types are liver qi depression(LQD), spleen deficiency and wet-sheng(SDAW), hyperactivity of liver yang(HOLY), extreme heat due to deficiency of yin(EHDTDOY), damp heat encumbering the spleen(DHETS). (2) The relationship between SDAW, DHETS and BMI, TG is clear, they may offer reference to syndrome differentiation of TCM of IGR. The difference of glouse, TC, HDL, LDL in the five groups are not significant, have no reference value.
