Objective To investigate the effect of semiconductor laser and high voltage static field on the diabetic rats. Methods 50 healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups, normal group(A), diabetic model group, 8 rats in group A and 42 rats in diabetic model group. The diabetic model were made by injecting STZ into the abdomen of rat. The diabetic model were randomly divided into four groups, diabete group(B),semiconductor laser treated group(C),high voltage static field treated group(D) and mixed treated group(E).The rats in each treatment group were given with corresponding treated. On the 40th day after experiment, the rats'blood, kidney tissue were collected and detected. Results There were significant differences in bodyweight, bloodglucose, Endothelin(ET), insulin and small vascular endothelium in kidney tissue between group A and group B( P <0. 05 or P <0. 01). In bodyweight, blood glucose, ET, insulin, there were significant differences between group B and group C or between group B and group E( P <0. 05), there were no significant differences between group B and group D.Conclusion Semiconductor laser or mixed treated has definite protection effect on diabete.
