| Objective:Retrospective reaschering the clinical effects of Gan bing I to therapy of chronic hepatitis B.Method:Through retrospective studying the medical records of hospitalized patients of the First Affiliated Hospital Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 5 years(2005-2009),We observe the clinical effects of Gan bing I combined Western conventional therapy of chronic hepatitis B in contrast to Western conventional therapy.68 cases which come from the liver branch ward in Heilongjiang TCM hospital.38 cases treated with routine western medicine adding Gan bing I,and 30 cases in the control group were treated by routine western medicine.Results:1.Through patient evaluation of quality of life scale,Treatment group in ascept of improving patient fatigue,poor appetite,sickness and so on was better than that in control group which has significant difference between two groups according to statistic analysis(P<0.05).2.The data of ALT and TBIL in treatment group was lower than that in control group which has significant difference between two groups according to statistic analysis(P<0.05).And the difference between the before and the after treatment were also apparent (P<0.05)in two groups respectively.3.The comparison of general therapeutic effect:The total effeetive rate was 81.6% in the treatment group which was much higher than 56.7% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The treatment group can clearly improve symptoms and patient's quality of life than the control group.2.The treatment group lower ALT and TBIL in treatment group than in control group.
