Fuyanping suppository was used mainly in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Fuyanping suppositories was got from clinical experience , and its original dosage form was enema . Dosage form was changed from enema to suppository. Preparation and quality standard of Fuyanping suppository were established in because of different effective constituent in the different traditional Chinese drug of Fuyanping suppository, different extraction were used in the search:Distillation method was used in the extraction of phizoma zedoariae and toosendan fructus .Ethanol extraction and orthogonal experiment were used in the extraction of salvia miltiorrhiza. Water extraction and alcohol precipitation were used in the extraction of paeoniae radix and corydalis etc, To determine the best extraction parameters, Orthogonal experiment with double index was used ,too.The scientific and reasonable preparation of Fuyanping suppository was established.Modern analytical methods were used in the quality standard of Fuyanping suppository .TLC was used in the identification of six traditional Chinese drugs of Fuyanping suppository. HPLC was used in the assaying of Paeoniflorin of paeoniae radix . Methodological studys of TCL and HPLC were Completed in the same time. The final quality standard system of Fuyanping suppository was established. study of the new drug development of Fuyanping suppository.
