ObjectivesEvaluate the extension function of the trunk muscle in stroke patients objectively and observe the influence of MFE in trunk's rehabilitationMethodsSelect the stroke patients and the healthy subjects 44 cases respectively record the bilateral initiative, coordinated muscle belly of the lateral muscles, the rectus muscles antagonistic sEMG data when the body lean backward,and extract the maximum value (MAX), the root mean square (RMS), the integral EMG (IEMG). The patients were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, the treatment group (the IF group) received conventional rehabilitation therapy plus modulation frequency electric therapy, a total of 40 days treatment.Observe dynamicly before treatment,20 days after treatment,40 days after treatment in hemiplegic patients with non-hemiplegic sides of sEMG changes.Each group was assessed with TCT scale,Barthel ADL scale respectively before and after treatment.Use SPSS13.0 statistical software to complete paired t test.Results1,When the healthy subjects lean backward, there were no difference between the right and left muscles in the active, synergistic and antagonistic muscles (P>0.05).The active muscle in hemiplegic patients the MAX, RMS, IEMG decreased by 56.4%,47.4%34.1%, compared with the healthy subjects, there were significant differences (P<0.01).The synergistic muscle in hemiplegic side increased by 18.6%,41.5%,95.6%, compared with healthy subjects, there were significant differences (P<0.01).2,After twenty days of treatment,there were differences between before and after the treatment of the non-hemiplegic sides (P<0.05); after forty days of treatment,there were differences between before and after the treatment of the hemiplegic sides (P <0.05).3,By the sEMG, Berg scale, TCT test, ADL index,there were no significant difference (P> 0.05), but after treatment there were significant difference (P<0.01).TCT evaluation showed the effective rate of the control group 36.37%, the IF group 68.18%.4,When the IF group lean backward after treatment, the hemiplegic side of the active muscles MAX, RMS, IEMG than the healthy decreased by 30.7%,24.7%,20.1%, the non-hemiplegic side of the synergistic muscles increased by 9.7%,22.3%,45.9%, to improve the body's abnormal movement patterns during dorsiflexion.Conclusions1,sEMG can evaluate trunk dorsiflexion in stroke patients objectively.2,The trunk muscles were not used perfectly in the stroke patients,especially the active muscles decreased in the hemiplegic sides and the coordinative muscles increased in the non-hemiplegic sides.3,Modulated medium frequency current therapy had positive curative effects on the reconstruction of trunk function after stroke.
