| Objective Study the Effects of benzenesulfonic acid levamlodipine and irbesartan On carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT) and atheromatous plaque in hypertensive patients. Methods A total of 100 essential hypertensive subjects without treatment or without formal treatment was included. They Were randomly divided into A group (amlodipine treatment group, n = 50 cases) and B group (irbesartan treatment group, n = 50 cases). Comparing the two groups carotid artery IMT, carotid artery atheromatous plaque Crouse points, vascular endothelin-1 (ET-1), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), systolic blood pressure (SBP ), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) changes before treatment and treatment of 6 months, 12 months. Results 1. After treatment for 6 months and 12 months, carotid artery IMT, carotid artery atheromatous plaque Crouse points, vascular endothelin-1 (ET-1), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), systolic blood pressure (SBP ), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) compared respectively with pre-treatment in two groups, have very significant difference (P<0.01). 2. IMT and Crouse points of the two groups were contrasted on 6 months and 12 months after treatment, have significant difference (P<0.05); Compared the diversification of ET-1,TNF-α,SBP,DBP of two groups were treated for 6 months and 12 months, have no significant difference (P>0.05); Conclusion 1 The benzenesulfonic acid levamlodipine and irbesartan can effectively reduce blood pressure,(No difference in antihypertensive effect between them), At the same time, can reduce plasma ET-1, TNF-αcontent of the patients with high blood pressure(No difference in effect between them).2 Compare the benzenesulfonic acid levamlodipine and irbesartan in hypertensive patients ,the former reverse the abnormalities of great arteries structural and Slow down the progress of atherosclerosis better, Especially in the 6 months after treatment. |
