Objective:To investigate association between Pepsinogen (PG) level and Helicobacter pylori(HP)infection in Mongolian and Han Chinese patients with gastric cancer, explore the geographical and ethnic characterristics, providing valuable clinical epidemiological study。Methods:Random choose 68 cases of gastric cancer patients diagnosed by endoscopy and pathology from october 2008 to october 2009 in Chi-feng College Hospital Gastroenterology,(3 on behalf of the per capita for the same nation, Mongolian 30 cases, Han 38 cases), and there were 42 cases in the health。The concentrations of serum PGI and PGII in subjects, which were detocted Enzyme-linked immunosothent assay。We made the War Thin-Starry staining, rapid urease test and 14C-urea breath test to all the subjects. All subjects in 4 week did not take off within the acid-suppressing drugs, antibiotics, bismuth agents。Statistical analyses were performed withSPSS11.5,p<0.05, expression had statistics significance。The measurement material uses x±s expression, samples were used to compare the number of T-tests。Results:1,Serum PGI level and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio of Mongolian and Han patients with gastric cancer was significantly lower than the normal group,(p< 0.05), in statistics had significance, the changes of Serum PGⅡlevel was not significant (p> 0.05);2,Serum PGI level and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio of Mongolian of gastric cancer patients were significantly lower than Han gastric cancer patients (p< 0.05), in statistics had significance, the changes of serum PGⅡlevel was not significant (p> 0.05);3,HP infection rate of Mongol and Han patients with gastric cancer were 70.00% and 68.42%,higher than the normal group(52.38%) (p< 0.05), in statistics has significance, while HP infection rate of the Mongolian and Han patients with gastric cancer was no significant (P>0.05);4,Serum PGⅠlevel and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio of HP-positive group was lower than HP-negative group in the Mongolian and Han patients with gastric cancer, in statistics had significance (p< 0.05), the changes of serum PGⅡlevel was not significant (p> 0.05);5,Serum PGⅠand PGⅡlevel and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio of Mongol and Han patients with gastric cancer between the different genders, there was no significant (p> 0.05)。Conclusion:1,The serum PGⅠand PGⅠ/PGⅡratio subtypes were closely correlated with gastric disease, decreasing of PGI and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio, which can be used as a serologic marker to serene and to help diagnosing gastric cancer;2,The serum PGⅠand PGⅠ/PGⅡratio of Mongolian patients with gastric were lower than the Han Chinese patients with gastric cancer, the serum PG level had obvious difference in eating habits in different ethnic populations;3,Hp infection in Mongol and Han patients with gastric cancer had connection with serum PGⅠlevel and PGⅠ/PGⅡratio.
