Objectives:This project aimed to discuss the effects of ginsenoside Rbl on bone lead, learning and memory, superoxide dismutase (NOS) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) of lead mice. Methods:The Lead-exposed model of mice was induced by lead acetate contain drinking water, at the same time, feeding different doses of ginsenoside Rbl (100mg.kg-1,50 mg.kg-land 25 mg.kg-1).Avoid dark experiment and Morris water maze test were used to evaluate the effects of ginsenoside Rbl on learning and memory of lead mice, and to determine the bone lead, the activity of Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS).Results:Lead-exposuring could lead the following results:shortening the incubation period of avoid dark experiment, increasing the number of errors, extending the search distance and the incubation period in Morris water maze tests, reducing the activity of Superoxide dismutase (SOD), rising the activity of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and the bone lead (P<0.05或P<0.01). After feeding ginsenoside Rb1, the incubation period of avoid dark experiment obviously extended, the number of errors clearly reduced, the search distance and the incubation period of model group apparently shortened, the activity of Superoxide dismutase (SOD) went up, the activity of nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and the bone lead leveled down(P<0.05或P<0.01).Conclusions:The results suggested that ginsenoside Rb1 excluded the lead significantly, and obviously alleviated the learning and memory obstacles of lead mice. It could meanwhile effectively enhanced the vitality of the antioxidant system of lead mice and protected their nerve cells.
