The Expression And Significance Of VEGF And P53 In Gastric Cancer | | Posted on:2011-10-01 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:H Q Yu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360305966412 | Subject:Pathology and pathophysiology | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Objective:To approach the expression and significance of VEGF and p53 in gastric carcinoma tissue and their bionomics relation.Methods:The Expression of VEGF and p53 were determined in 50 cases of gastric carcinoma by immunohistochemical methods.Results:1.The positive expression rate of VEGF was significantly higher in gastric carcinoma than in those adjacent normal mucosa (62.0%,20.0%, p<0.01). The expression rate of VEGF was 37.5% in tubular adenocarcinoma and 73.5% in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, respectively (p<0.01). The expression rate of VEGF was 73.5% and 37.5% in lymph node involvement group and no lymph node involvement group, respectively (p<0.01).2. Only one case were found that normal mucosa presented the expression of p53 (2%), while 58.0% in gastric carcinoma (p<0.01). The expression of p53 was related with the histological type and lymph node involvement. The expression of p53 were 37.5% and 67.6% in tubular adenocarcinoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, respectively, and 70.6% in lymph node involvement group and 31.3% in no lymph node involvement group (p<0.05, p<0.01).
