Objecive:Stroke is a severe with high mortality, disability, recurrence rate. One of common diseases and frequently-occurring disease. It is the common and frequently occurring diseases with the world's highest morbidity and mortality in our country. In recent years, the population aging and risk factors of stroke have been increased, the prevalence of stroke increased year by year. About three-quarters of survival stroke patients lost the ability to work. Stroke patients had varying degrees of consequences that seriously affecting the quality of life. It is the heavy burden to the country and many families. Poststroke shoulder pain was the most common complic. The incidence of shoulder pain in patients with hemiplegia is 5%, ation of stroke patients. The incidence of shoulder pain in patients with hemiplegia is 5%~84%, and the symptom occurred as early as twe weeks after a stroke, usually occurred 2~3 months after a stroke. Poststroke shoulder pain not only delayed the rehabilitation of upper limb function, but also hindered the rehabilitation process. This symptom was treated with anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs, hormones, local block, physical therapy and other methods, no specific method. However, there is no specific method. The purpose of this study was to explore the clinical effect of warming needle therapy combined with modern rehabilitation treatment to treat the shoulder pain after stroke, analyzing the mechanism to provide a safe and effective method of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy of hemiplegic shoulder pain.Methods:40 patients with Poststroke shoulder pain were divided randomly into two groups, modern rehabilitation for control group, treatment group was more with warming needle therapy than control group. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), simplifying Fugl-Meyer (FM) upper limb function evaluation method, Functional Independence Measure (FIM) were used to respectively assess pain of the shoulder and affected imb, upper limb motor function, daily living ability in all patients before and after 4 weeks of treatment. It should compare the obtained scores and the clinical effects. Meanwhile, adverse reactions should be observed. Results:The results showed that both groups improved after treatment. The VAS, FM, FIM score of treatment group and control group after treatment were compared with those before treatment were significantly different (P<0.01). The VAS, FM, FIM score of the treatment group is significant than that of the control group (P<0.01).In this study, no adverse reaction was occurred in all patients. Conclusion:The data suggest warm needle moxibustion is an effective and safe therapy to patients with Poststroke shoulder pain.
