The Clinical Study On Immunologic Mechanism Of Invigorating The Kidney And Stronging DU Meridian Prescription On Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effects on the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation (LDH) and the relationship between blood serum immunity level (IgG,IgM,IgA,C3 and C4) by the treatment with Invigorating the Kidney and Stronging DU meridian prescription (IKSD) as to give references to the clinical therapy and empirical study of LDH on Traditional Chinese Medieine.Methods We divided 80 patients with LDH into two groups randomly who matched with the standards of diagnosis, and were in Guangzhou traditional Chinese medicine university affiliated orthopedics hospital during April 2009 to February 2010. Under the same basic treatment, two groups were separately treated on difference methods. Before and finished the treatment, the Japanese improved and simple orthopedies, VAS grading method and the Academic society of the lumbago grading law were used to grade and evaluate the clinical therapy,meanwhile to checkout blood immunity level.Clinical data collection was completed, the statistical analyses were used SPSS11.0 coding statistical software.Results:1. Before and finished the treatment on two group, the VAS grading method and M-JOA were obviously decreased, which had visible difference after statistical treatment(p<0.01);The total effective rate in two group(traditional Chinese medicine group) was 93.33% which was significantly higher than in the orther groups (fundament group) (p<0.01). Above it prompted that traditional Chinese medicine group were availabler than the fundament group in the curative effect aspect.2. The blood serum immunity level (IgG,IgM) with LDH were significantly higher than health adult, and After the treatment and compared with the fundament group, the traditional Chinese medicine group could reduce the level of blood-serum IgG and IgM level obviously (p<0.01); After the standarded treatment the ratio was reduced which was blood-serum IgG and IgM level Before and finished the treatment, the former one 18%,11% in the traditional Chinese medicine group, the other one 3%,3% in the fundament group, and which was significantly different compared with two group(p<0.01). It improved that Invigorating the Kidney and Stronging DU meridian prescription obviously cut down immunity reaction circa-intervertebral disk on LDH.Conelusions Through the analyses, it could seed that the theory was sci-rational and integrity from the angle of DU meridian, Invigorating the Kidney and Stronging DU meridian prescription had content curative effect in the improvement of the clinical symptom and reduce the level of immunity。But more experimental studies should be observe and research to explain the precise mechanisms of the injection therapy with Bushen Huoxue Traditional Chinese Medieine on LDH.
