Sequence Polymorphism Of Human Cytomegalovirus Ul147 Genes In Clinical Stranis

ObjectiveTo investigate the sequence polymorphism of UL147 ORF in cytomegalovirus hepatitisclinical stranis and to identify the relationship between the polymorphism and cytomegalovirus hepatitis。MethodsHuman cytomegalovirus (HCMV) UL147 open reading frame (ORF) was amplified by PCR assay and sequenced in 19 cytomegalovirus hepatitis stranis.ResultsBy comparion with toledo sequence,the sequence analysis showed that significant strain-specific Polymorphism was present in the UL147 ORF,and the polymorphism located in the 5'end of sequence.There were 477-480kb in the sequence. The different sequences were not found among cytomegalovirus hepatitis and asymptomatic patients.ConclusionHCMV-UL147 existed in cytomegalovirus hepatitis stranis and sequences were hypervariable. The conservation of predicted UL147 product in clinical stranis had suggested that it had no relationship with the degree of cytomegalovirus hepatitis diseases.
