Restorative Procedure For Patients Of Hypodontia

Objectives:The patients with hypodontia were given different treatments, and the effects of the designs which are made to the dentures were evaluated.Method:The patients with hypodontia were given different therapeutic schedules according to patients'oral situation, age and subjective will, such as full denture, removable partial denture, fixed bridge, bonding fixed bridge, orthodontics-prosthetics therapeutic alliance and so on.Result:All patients and their parents were satisfied with the improvement on the masticatory function and facial esthetics when their treatments completed.One month later,we made return visit by phone,two patients with fixed dentures and the parents of three patients with removable denture were all satisfied with the effect of the treatments.Conclusion:For the restorations of patients with hypodontia, the ideal therapeutic schedule need the cooperation of orthodontics, prosthetics and implantology.we find that the routine restorations such as full denture, removable partial denture and fixed bridge also can achieve good prosthetic effects.
