| Objective:Single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) is a new advanced product wherein laparoscopic surgery is carried out through a single incision hidden in the umbilicus. Advantages of the technique over traditional laparoscopy are still under investigation. The objective of this study is to describe the clinical results of one case of SILS resection of left hepatic haemangioma in our hospital.Methods:Report of one case of SILS resection of left hepatic haemangioma.Operative and postoperative outcomes were analyzed.Results:The operation is successful,the vital sign during the whole operation is steady.The whole operation lasts for 75 minutes,and the blood loss are 80 ml.The patient feels no pain after the operation,and she does not need any analgesic drugs,gets out of the bed for activity in the operative day,and eats fluid in the operative day.The patient discharges from our hospital in the third day after operation with normal hepatic function.Conclusion:SILS resection of left hepatic haemangioma is feasible. Although not directly compared in this study, postoperative recovery in this case appears shorter than after conditioned laparoscopic technique. |
