Objective:To set up a Whole-Course (from diagnosis to death) and hospital-community-based Management System for urban Cancer Patients through network to improve the cancer patients'medical conditions and their quality of life and prolong the survival period, offer a Green Channel for cancer people.Method:To build a Wedsite, which includes a management system used to record the data of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up; To build the relationship between hospitals and communities, and train the community doctors about the knowledge of oncology and the instructions of the system. Through network, cancer specialists and community physicians together try to build a system including tumor diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, rehabilitation and hospice care.Result:Established a system that meets the requirements mentioned above; The "community health tracking management system" included several records of cancer cases from the First Affiliated Hospital of GuangXi Medical University form January 2008 to January 2010, and the system also has other functions; Built the structure of this system; Connected the Department of Oncology and Hospice House of the First Affiliated Hospital of GuangXi Medical University and several Community health services; Initially operated the system.Conclusion:The establishment of this system has great significance, It will enable cancer patients to get convenient, fast and professional medical services, and enhance the confidence and courage of cancer people to struggle with cancers. But there are still some problems when the system is running. It needs to be improved in the future.
