In the face of the grave situation in the global Diabetes, all the countries in the world have a clear understanding that, In order to fundamentally co control Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetes and its complications must be treatmented well, while prevention of diabetes have to be done a good job. Countries around the world have also developed diabetes prevention and Many research results have been confirmed lifestyle intervention for pre-diabetes (impaired glucose regulation) populations can reduce the incidence of diabetes.Currently the research on the Compliance of pre-diabetes is still less. Some studies on compliance behavior of patients with other diseases reported that, Compliance has a direct impact on disease treatment and clinical outcomes. The importance of following the doctor's behavior has been shown. The compliance Behavior of Pre-diabetes population is worth studying.Objective1.To investigate the compliance behavior of ImPaired Glucose Regulation (IGR) in community of Tai Yuan city and explore the influening factors.2.Study the relationship of the compliance and clinical progress in patients with IGR.MethodsPatients with newly diagnosed IGR were given the health education and lifestyle intervention for one year. After a year,we investigated these patients'compliance behavior.Four instruments were used for data collection:Individual information Sheet was used to collect the subjcets' demographic information. The Compliance Questionnaire was used to assess the subjects'compliance from the aspects of dietary customs, sports, personal habits and self-monitoring;The Questionnaire of Health Belief and the Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS)were used to measure the level of the subjects' health belief and social support respectively. The Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) consists of three dimensions:subjective support, objective support and the useless of support. The SSRS was used for the analysis of social support on the impact of patients'compliance. The Questionnaire of Health Belief was used for the analysis of health belief on the impact of patients'compliance from the five faces of perceived seriousness, perceived susceptibility, perceived benefits, perceived barriers and self-efficacy. In addition, while conducting the questionnaire survey, we had carried out medical examinations on patients in order to observe the changes in the metabolism. According to the appraisable standard,Subjects were divided into the good compliance group and the poor compliance group. Finally, compared two groups of changes in metabolic markers and analysed compliance affecting the metabolic markers and prognosis.Results1.The mean score of IGR patients'compliance is 39.36±4.78,there were 48 subejects, only accounting for 39.7% of total IGR patients in the investigation, and 73 subejects with poor compliance accounting for 60.3%.2.Women patients'compliance are better than men patients'compliance(P<0.05);better educational level are higher than worse educational level(P<0.05);Having complications, family history of diabetes, there exists significant differences in compliance of patients without complications, family history of diabetes(P<0.05).Patients' compliance had a positive correlation with age, social support, health conviction (P<0.05).3.After intervention the good compliance group of BMI,FPG,2hPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,TG,TC,HDL,SBP are significantly improved (P<0.05 or<0.01).4. After intervention the poor compliance group of HbA1C,FINS,HOMA-IR are significantly improved (P<0.05 or<0.01).5.Afer one year intervention, the good compliance group of BMI,FPG,2HPG,HbA1C,TC,HDL are significantly superior to these of the poor compliance group(P<0.05 or<0.01).6. There are 24 IGR patients who have reversed to Normal glucose tolerance (NGT) in the good compliance group and the reversed rate is 50.00%;While 23 IGR patients have reversed to NGT and the reversed rate is 31.51% in the poor compliance group (P<0.05).Conclusions1,The unhealthy Compliance phenomena of Patients with IGR in Yingze community is serious, and it should not be ignored.2,There exists significant differences in compliance of Women, higher education level, exsiting complications, being family history of diabetes when compared with the patients of men, lower education level,no complications,no family history of diabetes. Patients'compliance has a positive correlation with age, social support, health conviction. Older the age, better the social support, stronger the health beliefs, and then better the Patients'compliance. In the above-mentioned factors, the health beliefs have the greatest impact on the Patients'compliance.3,The good compliance group of IGR Patients'metabolic indicators have been improved significantly than the poor compliance group.IGR Patients'compliance directly affects intervention effects and the disease progression. Suggested that it should take measures to enhance different patients'compliance, help patients control diseases, and positively intervent Impaired Glucose Regulation.
