To understand the medical expense status of the opportunistic infections and the non-opportunistic infections, the medicine side effect three categories of disease conditions and the cost of medical expenses composition of the AIDS patients in the two areas'hospital in 2008. To research the funds be used for prevention and treatment to anti-opportunistic infections and the non-opportunistic infections, the medicine poisonous side effect in AIDS patient whether can meet the work need, the distribution of the funds is whether reasonable, and for the development of AIDS treatment policies provide a reference.Methods:the treatment costs of anti-viral in Wenxi, Xiaxian AIDS patients and the treatment costs for opportunistic infections and non-opportunistic infections, medicine side effect in AIDS patient were collected in two Hospitals of Yuncheng and Linfen, the use of the expense for AIDS patient as well as the quality influencing factor of the survives were analyzed.Results:1. Demography characteristic of AIDS patient1.1 Wenxi In 2008 this year we collected AIDS 179 cases, and 13 new cases,20 deaths,172 cases are now suffering. The survey collected 142 cases of AIDS patients, accounting for 61.27% of them men, women account for 38.73%; of which the youngest 12 years old to 63 years, mean age is 46 years; education level below junior high school accounted for 43.3%; peasants were the main accounted for 92.96%; Generally lower income levels, per capita income of 1,500 yuan accounted for 73.94%; married accounted for 73.94%; stayed with their families accounted for 90.8%; infection means to sell blood, accounting for 77.1%, followed by blood transfusion infection accounted for 14.3%; receiving antiretroviral treatment time is greater than one year accounted for 95.8%.1.2 Xiaxian 77 AIDS cases in early 2008,16 new cases,3 deaths, out of one person, now is suffering from 91 cases. The survey of 82 AIDS patients were male 58.5%, female 41.5%; the youngest 10 years old, maximum of 65 years, mean age is 43 years; education level below junior high school accounted for 41.4%; peasants were the main account for 91.5%; Generally lower income levels, per capita income of 1,500 yuan accounted for 57.32%; married accounted for 72.0%; with their families accounted for 88.9%; infection means to sell blood, accounting for 58.5%, followed by blood transfusion, accounting for 19.5%; receiving antiretroviral treatment time is greater than one year 85.4%.1.3 Yuncheng, Linfen City Hospital for Infectious Diseases investigated a total of 186 people.. Yuncheng 65 people (48 people) accounted for 43.07% males, females accounted for 56.93%; to mostly 40 to 50 years old,36.92%of total trips; 48 patients mainly from Xiaxian (46.15%), followed by Wenxi (13.85%), Yongji.Linfen 121 people (109 people) accounted for 49.6% of males, females is 50.4%; career based mainly farmers accounted for 74.4%, followed by 12.4% students; aged 20 to 40 as more, followed by 0 to 20 accounted for total trips 31.4%; transmission to blood transfusions up to 33.9%, followed by sexual transmission accounted for 20.7%,71.1% of married people.
