Objective:By constructing the rabbit's brain hemorrhage model,to observe the effect of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on the experimental intracerebral hemorrhage in rabbit's brain water content, brain tissue Na+. K+concentration, superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde (MDA) content and brain tissue pathological changes , to find out whether the changes were influential.To prove the intracerebral hemorrhage in patients with early stage of HBO treament can improve the prognosis of patients and provide a theoretical basis.Methods:Sixty experimental rabbits were randomly divided into normal control group, sham operation group, intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) group,24h,48h,72h at different time points of the intervention of early HBO treatment group. Using rabbit autologous blood injection to build experimental ICH model. Sham operation group only drill but not inject blood. HBO group,24h,48h,72h at different time points, after making intracerebral hemorrhage model,receivied HBO therapy, once a day,100 minutes every time,continued for 7 days. Rabbits in each group were killed at the same time, after that made the brain water content in brain tissue, Na+,K+ concentration, superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) content determination and after the production of brain sections made the HE staining for observing the brain histopathological changes.Results:The normal control group and sham operation group of the brain tissue's water content,Na+,K+ concentration, superoxide dismutase(SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) were not significantly different, the difference was not significant (p>0.05). At each time of the early HBO group in brain tissue's water content, Na+ concentration and MDA content were lower than the ICH group, the difference was significant (p<0.05); the K+ concentration and superoxide dismutase(SOD) content were higher than the ICH group, the difference was significant (p<0.05). The brain water content, Na+ concentration and MDA content of the early HBO treatment group (24h) were lower than the late HBO treatment group (48h,72h), the difference was significant (p<0.05); the K+ concentration, superoxide dismutase (SOD) were higher than those of HBO treatment group (48h,72h), the difference was significant (p<0.05). What could be seen in the optical microscope:the normal control group, the structure and profile of the brain tissue's nerve cells were clear;The sham operation group, the structure was basically normal except it was surrounded by a slight hematoma;The cerebral hemorrhage group, we could find the unclear organizational structure, a large number of red blood cells and significant edema, large tracts of nerve cell degeneration, necrosis,a large number of inflammatory cell infiltration.The HBO group of the 24h after ICH,we could see the edema, the inflammatory cells of neutrophils, lymphocytes decrease obviously.The HBO group of the 48h after ICH, we could find the edema and inflammatory cells of neutrophils, lymphocytes decrease slightly obviously. The HBO group of the 72h after ICH,we could find the edema and inflammatory cells of neutrophils, lymphocytes not decrease obviously.Conclusions:1.HB0 can reduce the rabbit's brain water content after ICH. 2.HB0 can inhibit the lipid peroxidation, reduce the oxidative stress in the injury of the rabbit's intracerebral hemorrhage.3. The earlier HBO treatment on the rabbit's intracerebral hemorrhage, the more we can significantly reduce the brain water content, inhibit the lipid peroxidation, reduce the pathological changes of the brain tissue.
