Clinical Research Of Shenfu In Patients With Acute Left Heart Failure

ObjectivesTo investigate the clinical effect of Salvia Injection in treating Acute Left Heart Failure. Changes of Syndromes and homodynamic 60 min post-injection, then Chinese Clinical syndrome scores, hBNP(human plasma brain natriuretic peptide), and the in-hospital mortality 1 week post-injection were observed for analysis of the therapeutic effect.MethodsAccording to the inclusive/exclusive criteria,46 acute heart failure patients were randomized into the Treatment Group (23n) and the Control Group (23n). Routine medicine treatments were applied in the Control Group while in the treatment group, Salvia Injection were used additionally. Changes of Syndromes and homodynamic 60 min post-injection, then Chinese Clinical syndrome scores, hBNP(human plasma brain natriuretic peptide), and the in-hospital mortality 1 week post-injection were observed for analysis of the therapeutic effect. All data collected were analyzed by software SPSS 13.0. The t test and x2 test were used in accordance with different data types and P<0.05, which means a significant statistical difference.ResultsRoutine medicine plus Salvia Injection used in the treatment group shows better clinical effect in improving clinical syndrome, with 91.2%effective rate and 34.7%obvious effective rate. The blood pressure and heart rate were improved (P<0.01). The improvement of diastolic pressure and heart rate in the Treatment Group were greater comparing with the Control Group, but with no significant statistical difference (P>0.01). Patients in the Treatment Group shows lower hBNP level with significant statistical difference (P<0.01).Conclusion:Salvia Injection plus routine medicine treatments can improve clinical syndromes and homodynamic fast and significantly, lower in-hospital mortality and hBNP level.
