Clinical Observation Of Fumigated-washed By Gu Xi 2 Fang In Preventing Post-discectomy Syndrome

Objective:To asses the effect of fumigated-washed by Gu Xi 2 Fang in preventing and alleviating post-discectomy syndrome. Approaching the etiological factor of post-discectomy syndrome. Approaching the mechanism of action of fumigated-washed by Gu Xi 2 Fang in preventing post-discectomy syndrome.Methods:According to the serious diagnosis standard, from October 2009 to March 2008,60 patients were therapied in our hospital.They were randomly And equally devided into three groups. They were the Treatment group(Gu Xi 2 Fang),the Control group (TDP) and the Blank group (Blank decoction). The observation was 3 months in all, one course of treatment are 2 weeks. Adopt total active movement (ODI) evaluation system which is recommended by Oswestry. The ODI of the 3 groups were estimated and contrasted at the end of 2th week 3th month. TGF-β1 in blood serum of the 3 groups were mensucasesd and contrasted at the end of 2th week.Results:After 2 weeks, the Treatment group:excellent cases were 16; the good cases were 2; the commonly cases were 2; the non-cases were 0. the Control group:excellent cases were 9; the good cases were 8;the commonly cases were 1; the non-cases were 2. the Blank group:excellent cases were 2; the good cases were 9;the commonly cases were 5; the non-cases were 4. After 3 months, the Treatment group:excellent cases were 16; the good cases were 0;the commonly cases were 3; the non-cases were 1. the Control group:excellent cases were 9; the good cases were 8;the commonly cases were 0; the non-cases were 3. the Blank group:excellent cases were 2; the good cases were 9;the commonly cases were 4; the non-cases were 5. After 2 weeks, TGF-β1 in blood serum of the Treatment group:60.75±20.95; TGF-β1 in blood serum of the Control group: 80.85±19.45; TGF-β1 in blood serum of the Blank group:95.59±25.34. between The ODI of the 3 groups (the Treatment group,the Control group and the blank group) showed some significant difference by Riditcheck comparison according to P<0.05, The TGF-β1 in blood serum of the 3 groups (the Treatment group,the Control group and the blank group) showed some significant difference by Riditcheck comparison according to P<0.05.Conclusion:Fumigated-washed by Gu Xi 2 Fang have good effects on preventing and alleviating of post-discectomy syndrome. The mechanism of action of fumigated-washed by Gu Xi 2 Fang maybe control the composition of collagen , reducing cicatrization. Fumigated-washed by Gu Xi 2 Fang after treatment havn't found obvious side effects, is a safe, simple, reliable and good effect treatment in post-discectomy syndrome...
