| Objective:Validating the effect of intervention of group training on college students depression. Discussion how to carry out community interventions in colleges or universities for eliminating or reducing depression, promoting and safeguard the mental health of students.Method:Through on-site promotional activities, recruiting college students of herself or himself demand aid. Then Implementation SDS self-rating depression questionnaire measurements for further screening depression students In the informed consent. Specific methods:Firstly Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) Measurement. Secondly Attribution Scale (ASQ) measurement. Followed by a simple coping style scale (SCSQ) measurement. Finally, Diagnostic individual interviews. Inclusion criteria:a desire to participate, SDS points> 50 scores and ruled out the students show obvious hostility and psychological symptoms. Divided group:According to the inclusion criteria selected 32 students to match the degree of depression. Then randomly divided into experimental and control groups. Following the principles of group training (8 to 12 is appropriate). Divided into experimental group 1 and experimental group2,control group land control group 2. The experimental group was trained repeatedly by the group intervention. One time a week, each time two hours and continue 7 weeks altogether. The training process followed identified problems, understand and solve problems, strengthen understanding to carry out. After training utilized SDS, ASQ, SCSQ for post-test.Non-intervention on control group, But for the same post-test after the test.Data were analyzed using SPSS 13.0, paired t test,X2test, Wilcoxon test. Last, analyzing the causes of depression using individual in-depth interviews. Before and after intervention measure date of experimental groupd using before and after comparison analysis. The same time, the control group were also the same measurement data before and after comparison. Results:1. In terms of the Self-Rating Depression Scale the experimental group pre-test scores was 60.54±8.34 and pro-test scores was 49.64±8.66. There were significant differences (t=3.442, P=0.003).But the control group pre-test scores was58.30±7.32 and pro-test scores was51.13±11.60. There were no significant differences (t=1.358,P=0.204). the control group was parallel control and had no spontaneous resolution in same extent. So the group training of experimental group is effective.2. In terms of the SCSQ,the results could be divided into positive response and negative response to analyze by two dimensions. On the positive response, the the experimental group pre-test scores was 1.63±0.48 and pro-test scores was 2.08±0.37. There were significant differences (t=0.622, P=0.541).But the control group pre-test scores was 1.43±0.38 and pro-test scores was 1.28±0.37. There were no significant differences (t=1.183, P=0.251) On the negative response, the the experimental group pre-test scores was 1.32±0.47 and pro-test scores was 2.08±0.37. There were no significant differences (t=0.622,P=0.541).But the control group pre-test scores was 1.43±0.38 and pro-test scores was 1.28±0.37. There were no significant differences (t= 1.489, P=0.153). The experimental group's attitude in a positive response was more easily improve himself or herself to obtain a better change after the intervention.3. In terms of the Adjective word frequency, the word were divided into negative, intermediate state, positive state. The negative was divided into depression, anxiety and other negative states. In terms of the experimental group, the ratio of the states is significant differences (X2=68.072, P=0.000) before intervention (39.2%,22.8%,16.5%,9.5%,12.0%) and after intervention (9.8%,5.9%,15.7%,17.6%,51.0%). The experimental group on the subjective feeling become better after the intervention.4. In terms of the confidence score the experimental group pre-test scores was 60.39±20.28 and pro-test scores was 73.72±13.11. There were significant differences (t=2.251, P=0.038). The self-confidence of experimental group has been greatly improved after the intervention indicating a relatively intervention effective. Conclusion:1. The intervention effect is ideal on depressed mood by group training. The training can continue to study for forming an effective modelto promote.2. The depression of most University student is form the contradictions and conflicts. Specific interventions should be formulate for individual.3. In the process of interviews and group training could understanding the formation process of cognitive, emotional experience and behavior and explore the depths of the human mind to conduct effective intervention. |
